That compliment is especially appreciated because the brim is hand-shaped (by me). It is hand-shaped due to a poorly planned idea I had to iron the brim down into a fedora shape before I realized that the inside-the-curl brim binding stitching showed in an unflattering way. I spent quite a bit of time and lots of steam trying to put it back.
