Thor,
Great looking jacket and perfect fit. I've often looked at W&G but worried about the fit. I'm 6'2", but it seems to me the W&G Talls are really too long, even for most tall people. Is yours a Reg or Tall and how tall are you?-I'd like to know for my own future purchase.
Hello @daw, I am 6'1" and 220 pounds. Usually I wear a 46L or 48L jacket, depending on the maker but this is a 46 regular and the posted measurements were spot on so I hit the ol' "buy-it-now" button and I'm glad I did. The jacket has wide shoulders (21.5") but is not overly loose in the body and with 28" sleeves and 27" back length (very long for a "regular") the jacket fits me perfectly.

I'm 6'-1" 195lb. and have trouble finding regular sizes tall enough.
@jonesy86 I am usually looking for long/tall jackets on eBay but I always go by the posted measurements; this "regular" length W&G jacket has 28" sleeves and a 27" back length and wide 21.5" shoulders, my ideal measurements in an A-2 so I hit the jackpot with this particular A-2. Maybe it's a mis-labeled "long"? Who know?

View attachment 90003 Just picked up this 1980's vintage Willis & Geiger horsehide A-2 off the 'bay in mint condition for about a hundred bucks. Best fitting A-2 I've ever owned. Very comfy!
The knits, the bemberg rayon lining, the zipper, the leather, all are in as-new condition. The horsehide is a perfect mid-weight hide in a nice seal brown with similar striations in the leather grain that I've seen on Lost Worlds horsehide.
Great fit, the sleeve length is perfect.

Boeing B-3 by Schott. It must be a version of the 257S. Very nice jacket, but not an accurate repro of the B-3 jacket.

Schott is more about fit and comfort then about exact reproduction (B-3, ANJ-4, A2, G1, etc).

Have been away for a while. Just got a new jacket from Aeroleather, one I have been thinking about quite a while. I always liked the Highwayman, but the boxy cut also made me think "this is not for you". Now I decided to follow Aero's advice to size one down, from my regular 48" to 46". All measures given to assure a trim fit (maybe a bit too much, though ;-)). The hide is Cordovan FQHH, lining a nice Lochcarron Tartan that compliments the reddish-brown of the leather. I ordered one inner pocket opposite the outer one and no stormcuffs.

here's a nice view on the Tartan, which I like quite a bit. Beautiful stuff!

I guess the jacket will sagg a bit once the leather becomes softer, this might give me 1/2" in length. The shoulders also should be fine after some wear.
Actually, I'm very pleased with the fit. It is trim and short and that's fine. Fits like a glove, to be precise... ;-)
