I received an email today from Michael giving me an update on my order. He is not yet back to work but he is on the mend. I told him to take his time and fully recover before he goes back to work.

Michael sent me an email today relating that he is walking with the aid of a cane, but still not able to negotiate stairs which is needed to pounce hats. He is moving ahead on some of the processes but he is not yet back to making hats. Just FYI for those interested.

That's FedOregon's hat. Michael is making one very similar right now for me (just the bow will be different).
Michael doesn't make many rabbit felt hats and he'll certainly try to sway you into beaver. I too considered rabbit for a bit but Michael was very persuasive.

Ordered my first Gannon this morning. I take it the hats come with a good hatbox?
