That is really cool about your mother. I really like the illustrated ads, the artwork is phenomenal......many of the early ones were proper finished paintings and it shows......just like the Saturday Evening Post covers we all love......really nice art indeed! And even in todays world of photography, the drawn and painted ads STILL draw my attention and remain memorable for many! (No pun intended

I have been enjoying these so much. The 1918 war map ad is of great interest to me. The home front during the Great War is one of my historical interests. Really cool stuff! Thank you.
Thanks! I'll have to dig some of her work out of storage to scan and show off. It was really phenomenal, some of the stuff she did. She grew up as the last of the boomers, and I get a lot of my love for vintage style and the Golden Era come from her influence.That is really cool about your mother.
