This past weekend I shared a Founders DKML. The 750ml bottle contains a malt liquor that needs a glass. Dry hopped, corn and aging in a bourbon barrel make you realize that malt liquor can no more be a slighted style. Excellent share (ABV 14%). (Hat is a Borsolino Misto).

It is really outstanding. The grey palette is something— not totally unfamiliar to me, but I generally leave them on the shelf. That blue smoke makes me want to explore that palette some more.

Agreed that the blue smoke (not blue mist-must have been the subconscious thinking about Irish Mist) is special. It wears/pairs very well. I do like Jack's smaller ribbon on the affore pic'd hat. The grey/blue hue really demands attention.
I ike the Hats in Drinks as it reflects having an appreciation of the many ordinary objets or beverages around us. Perhaps as shown in the thread's pics, not so ordinary beverages. A celebration in a pic.
No Hats and Drink pic this morning as I am still alternately sipping coffee and water as I practice my guitar. Channeling some acoustic blues on an 8'F morning. Best, Eric -

I like the bottle too. Was surprised it is wine. I have two of the three 1st issue Bat Masterson Whiskeys (Wheat & Rye), still searching for the 3rd. They look great in my whiskey cache, I'll probably never drink them.
I like the color a lot. Cold photography lighting brings out the blue more. Warm natural outdoor lighting brings out the light gray more.
Especially with white hair & whiskers!
