@dubpynchon, that's another jacket that travelled at least four continents. The sleeves are spot on too.
My USN cold weather/flame resistant deck jacket is my current “go-to” work jacket. I’ve added a “captain” Velcro Nametag and an orange safety whistle as a zipper puller and it’s now a perfect boatman’s work jacket. Very warm too on these blustery winter days around the waterfront.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Started reading this forum maybe two years back, found it when researching leather jackets. Had never heard of any of the brands discussed here before I found TFL. Must say that I’ve really appreciated the immense knowledge and the respectful and civilized tone on this forum, something that’s rarely found online these days.
In the picture I’m wearing a Harley Davidson G1-style jacket that I picked up in a thrift store. It’s probably the cheapest and lowest quality jacket I own (fake plastic feeling “genuine leather” and fake fur collar) but also one of my favorites.

Wore my j106 to a friends xmas party last night. It was passed around the room, a couple people tried it on and marveled at its weight. That made me smile. I love it when the uninitiated experience/appreciate the splendor and shocking quality of Aero's skill and Horween's dreadnought CXL.
