Tried out the new hats Mike (Redfokker) sent me in this edition the Holland-Oregon hat exchange. A great bunch of hats it is too! My thanks go out to Mike and to Mike Miller, who did a great job on one of the ribbons.

Dug deep in the boxes today for Mass. came up with the Dalt-O-Liner, which hasn't seen much head time lately.

Feeling quite "Regal" under this one.

Mike, thanks, it is a very nice hat. It does have a liner though it's a bit faded. Unfortunately, I did that soaking it in Woolite. It was dirty but still legible before cleaning so I know that the crest had a maple leaf instead of stars. There is an intact $10 price tag inside the sweat. Using the dating Stetsons by price thread, it seems that Playboys and Royal Stetsons in general were priced at $10 from 1949-1956. The maple leafs and price tag that is not OPS would indicate sometime between 1954 and 56. The only hitch is the lack of a plastic tip protector. There is not trace that there was one but I have to assume it was removed at some point.
Sweet looking Playboy Richard. Love it when the dating clues are extant!

Very sharp Bill. Love the tie. That Marathon is a real find, great age and super condition. Nice color too.

Great hat! Happy Birthday! Good to see someone else appreciates the finer things in life.:p
Bacon and Chocolate and Schnapps, life is good. I'll have to come back to reality on Tuesday.

With my Campdraft on a hike today.

Way to make a comeback Alan! So good to see you and your collection again. This Bancroft is a showpiece.

Hey all!
Wet and windy day. I don't really want to go out in this lousy weather, but I promised I'd go to Mom's and take her dog for a walk so out I go. This mid 80's fuzzy Borsalino that I bought NOS from Daniele fits under an umbrella and looks good with Army green. And is warm.

It is holding up to the elements like a trooper. It is stormy here in Oregon today as well.

Just adorable, bit light for my colouring but you look amazing. I have a '53 light grey borsalino that I don't wear much cause it's too light. I can't remember why it's dated 53 but it was dated here. Best hat I have. I think we're the same size, it's a 57cm. It's a proper hat Alan. It's the only hat that gets the most comments. Do you have a comparable dark hat that wants to journey, cause this would look amazing on your crown?

Love you too Brother. I hope this is a welcome back to the fold. We did survive, and you are a voice that was sadly lacking these past couple of months.
hey I might get kicked as soon as I get noticed, and somewhat deserved as I insulted someone so utterly stupidly, as didn't deserve it in any way, still n all i was wading through something last year, useless excuse, and you and well most others here helped me to stand the feck up. I kept looking back on that. I'll always miss Bob, if he's still banned, because he was lovely, and wore hats well.
