Cool morning had me outside in wool. Cordova Cap.
Errands in a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner in pine green.
Best, Eric -
That shade of green is so sweet. Pristine example Eric.

Was out running errands this morning. Took the Stetson Sovereign Twenty Mode Edge along,

I think I hear a nap calling my name now.

Have a great Monday,
Michael
I just love the lettering on that liner logo. It is so different than what I've seen. Great look today.

Too cute! You kids have a great time.

Hey all!
Brown Borden 'burg on a grey afternoon.
Have a great day!

Looks good Moe. The Borden is so interesting.

Akubra Leisure Time with custom band. I took out the chin strap I added so I could wear it with more versatility and not look like some boy scout. I kept the custom band, though.
Looks good, nice band.
An old companion, workhorse of a hat, 1900s No.1
Love this one Justin Yay! the Fray!

Late arrival. Maybe my first "vintage" hat. A 4X (whatever that means) Champ. Came to me rough as a cob. Rookie buyer. The seller closed their ebay account on the day of its arrival. Buy and learn. It's become my go to "work" hat.

Been there, done that...more than once. Looks better than you are describing.

Thanks guys for the likes and comments on my Garrison from yesterday. David Garrison makes great Indy hats and I’ve worn this one in rain, snow, heat and one or two nice days.

Today it’s my Buckaroo Hatters at sunset.

Good look for that appointment Jack.

I thought this Stetson was blue...... next to a blue shirt it's more of a green ! Do I change my shirt or find another hat to wear? Or just say who cares...Option three it is!

My latest refurb: 1950's Stetson 3X beaver Open Road fedora conversion with a paintbrush ribbon accent. The lighting in the selfies isn't so great -- the most accurate color depiction is in the before/after shots below. Much thanks to @AbridgedPause for helping procure this one.

Sweet! Did you have to do anything particular to the brim for it to present so nice and straight?

~ S.

Thanks. No, it naturally sits fairly flat. It’s a newer hat (poshmark purchase) and the felt is very thin and soft - almost to the point of being a bit flimsy - so the brim plays nice. And since I wear my brims up quite a bit, it’s a great hat for me!

Travelling to and from work this morning, I've been wearing my SJC Winter Cap in heavy, navy corduroy with wool liner. About the next warmest hat I have to a B2 cap or a Ushanka.

In the office, I don't always have the heat on so it sometimes gets chilly on the old baldy bonce. That being so, when I think I might not be disturbed and it gets a bit much I'll often switch between a green ACW Kepi (US Army Berdan Sharshooters; no statement of politics, I just liked the colour) or a 1960s West German sidecap to stop all the heat flowing out from the top of my head. Both work well on that front. I used to have a Fezorama Fez in here too, but think I took it home. I do have a repro PIckelhaube in the office too - I call it my thinking cap. I quite enjoy the looks I get when anyone walks in on me wearing that one.

Can't exactly say why, but this is a superb photo.

To me it's the mix of juxtapositions and similarities. The modern ceiling lines of the hallway with the hanging orbs, the orbs and Michael's glasses, and his old-timey look and the aforementioned modern hallway. Not to mention the perspective and upward angle. It all works very well.

Absolutely love this conversion. I have an Open Road that was also done into a Fedora and it is my favorite. Super job!
