To get back on the weight-topic.
I weighed myself today with my old C&A suede-blouson (thick porksplit!). This jacket was always like a heavy tank on my shoulders. Weight 1,4 kilograms.
But nearly undestroyable jacket.
But, I still prefer my Denim-jackets.
Would you choose 800 gram-jackets or 1,4 kilogram-jackets, for most of the time?
It depends. In Spring to Fall I like wearing a lighter weight jacket, such as my denims, as much as possible. However, it rains a lot here and only a few days are real T-shirt only weather.
In winter I wear heavier jackets, either my G1 or one of my Berghaus Gore-Tex jackets with their zip in fleece liners, and they weigh around 1 - 1.5 Kg.
I therefore have to state that more often than not, I end up wearing the heavier jackets up here. And to be honest, I don't really feel the weight when I wear them.

I have a Schott 613SH in size 38 that I bought a couple of months ago and wore it for about a week. I’m considering selling it for a low price, if you’re interested. Here are the specs:

It bought too many jackets recently and have a custom Aero being built right now. The Schott horse hide, as we all know, is an awesome jacket and will break in nicely in 2 decades! Just message me!

Today it’s my first cross zip recently out of the bay. It was described as “probably” a Langlitz. I’m prety certain it is a Cal Leather CHP. Opinions appreciated. I think it’s pretty ok. Stetson No.1 on top.
