It's what I get for tossing my lid onto a chair rather than putting it away when I got home last night.

The cat hair on the hat was worth it.

I think she was mad at me for putting the hat in 'her chair' and she was pretending it wasn't there while occasionally checking that I was seeing her indignation.

I remember wearing my Fed IV over to Miss Linda's one day and putting the hat crown down on a low bookcase. Then I turned around to find that her small white cat Annabelle had curled up, not next to the lid, but inside it. I didn't think it was possible for a full-grown cat to fit inside my size 7 hat, but she managed it.

This was before I had a cell phone, or I'd show you a pic.

Oh, yeah, the expression on her face in the first photo is one of, "Why is this 'thing' on my chair? It is clearly in my way, and should be removed immediately."
