Not many jacket days left in Texas, today I am wearing my new-to-me, originally inexpensive, A-2 jacket. I picked up a broken-in Cooper A-2 jacket because it was dirt cheap. It is in decent shape and fits me like a glove, but . . . the knits were shot (no holes, but no elastic left). So, I ordered some brick red knits from overseas (more $$ than regular replacement knits) and had Siggy paint a 755th BS patch for me. Once the knits arrived, I dropped them off with my reasonably-priced tailor that has worked on my other leather jackets - and did not ask what a replacing the cuffs and waistband would run - I should have! While I am certainly happy with the final product, I probably could have just ordered a new jacket from Eastman at this point!

That thing looks way cooler than any Eastman, Sir. I love the colors of your knits and that patch is amazing especially with the color selection. Really, the coat looks straight out of a comic book and really super vintage cool! The collar really starting to show its potential for the rest of the coat. I wouldn’t regret any of this coat!

The large number of large pockets makes this very handy for bike outings when I don't want to take luggage with me.
And in the late afternoon it was my thrift store find of the day. Custom tailored suede leather blazer

Best dressed person in my opinion. You are so my role model. When I grow up, I wanna be you, Michael! Seriously, I would love to see more people having the courage to dress well and colorful and just all around cool...

Agreed. I left many years past behind me to have a role model and I can never wear like him, come near him. But he is one among many.

Thanks A-1. Growing up is overrated in my opinion, so I try not to. By the way, I have a serious covet for your new A-1. Perfect combo of wool and leather colors and textures. A Really Great Looking Jacket.

Thanks,
Michael

Pretty good fit for a longer Bootlegger style. I like..!! I also hope my Battered Tan Teamster being made comes to me in about that same body length. Your jacket looks very neatly done.
