Not much excessive posting as of late.
Enjoying a quiet evening on the couch. Kids asleep and a cold gin and tonic. Only thing missing is the girl.

Every now and then they are, for sure, but most times, man, the kids....they sure make you realize you don't have all the time in the world. You just do what you got to do and keep moving forward.

I never miss it, but as I have just a baker's dozen of hats, it's a question of recycling, but I do have more floral, tropical, topical, Aloha & Hawaiian shirts than most, so I tend to show them off more. And there's always a hat to go with them, along with a much appreciated, appreciative audience.

I worked with a short guy with thin hair for over 20 yrs. One day he showed up to work with a curly perm trying to fill in & make his hair look thicker. I never laughed so hard in my life! The next time he needed a haircut he gave up & had it buzzed off & wore it that way the rest of his life.
