Another heavy snow fall in my partof the world, so nothing more for it than to flick on the vintage radio

www.Live365.com

I like the Canuckteach Crooners station myself! The Gaggia Italian coffee maker is fully pressurised, plenty of logs crackling and hissing on the fire, and I'm just one happy teddy bear sitting here, all snug, looking out at a winter wonderland.

But, there's still a wee bit of work to get on with, so off I go, coffee in hand :) as I wiggle to a little rag-time number!! Definitely Irvin flying jacket weather!

Canuckteach Crooners?

Hey Paddy :) : Canuckteach Crooners Station? Being one of the few Canuckleheads on the forum you've got me wondering which station this is? Not CBC Radio by any chance? I'm curious...

Warm Regards

Ah no matter what the weather is you can always warm yourself with a little big band swing. I go for the BBC Radio big band myself. After all World War One and Two was won over there. BBC has been swinging since the dawn of time. God bless Benny Hill too. :cool2:

It's working now...Love that Canuck station! Listened to it today when I was cleaning house. But it still won't work with Windows Media Player. What software are y'all using to listen to it? There was another station I was listening to also that was like a radio show with George Burns and Gracie. Totally enjoyable and something fresh and new for me although it's not anything new for some.

I am a huge fan of Live 365 (I even started to broadcast my own station). I enjoy listening to all the old time radio shows and music from the golden era. The great part is it's available anytime I want.
