This thread was suggested in the HATS forum, so I'll start it off:

I'm looking for a vintage light gray (I would call it "dove gray") fedora with a 4-5 inch crown, brim wider than 2 1/2" and a black grosgrain ribbon. Size 7 1/2 or 7 5/8. Will consider a Homburg of the same color combination. Would love to make a trade if possible.

Seems us bigheads are the only people looking for anything.

I'm looking for any fedoras(preferably other than brown) in decent shape in size 7.5, with reasonable sized brims, I've got to boost my collection(the *one* fedora I have is getting a bit old).

Outstanding, and welcome to the Lounge!! May I be so bold to suggest that you contact our own Panama Bob, as he has provided me with two beautiful Montecristi Panama's, plus one Cuenca. His quality and price cannot be found anywhere else. He also looks after the weavers in Equador, to ensure they have a fair price for what is paid. Then I had Art Fawcett block them for me. It was a match made in heaven. I got the tall 40's looking crown with a wide brim...which I need for Skin Cancer Prevention.

Almost anything in 7 1/8. LO preferred.

I am new to fedora wearing and like tall crowns and wide brims. I am looking for anything other than brown and silver belly. I would really love to find a medium to dark green.

I've got a couple of brown Cavanaghs in 7 1/4 LO. I'd love to add black, gray, or blue to the Cavanagh collection. Brim width 1 3/4" to 2" would be ideal. I have to keep putting my hats on the stretcher, so 7 3/8 LO or XLO would be great, too.

I was going to...

post my desired hat when I happened upon one on eBay today. A medium brown vintage Stetson in 7 1/4. Still looking for the dark brown and gray fedora in 7 1/4 though, but this eBay purchase was my first and I am excited to get it and check it out.
