    Greetings, I just finished renovating this 40's Stetson Special Eagle Fedora. It is a oranish brown color with a rust colored bound edge and a burnted orange ribbon, quite unique. The brim is 2-5/8" and the crown is 6". Enjoy.

    Does anyone know the real reason for the double brim? Perhaps, when buying a hat, a fella put one on and determined that it was too thin and plopped another body right on top of it. He would peel the top layer off during extreme heat and put it on for rain protection during the monsoon...
