Hi
My grandparents in Illinois had this, Dad said it was a water heater. I would have thought a water heater would have a spigot. I don't think that the grate / grill in the bottom or the soldering iron go with it.
Thanks
Mike
Hi
I have my Great Grandmother's shipping container (crate) that had all of her stuff in it when she came over from Germany in the 1880's. Somebody wallpapered it with some itcky blue wallpaper and it's mostly gone. I'd like to get the rest of the wallpaper off without disturbing the...
Hi
I'd like to announce a new group, "Okies of the Fedora Lounge".
We can use the group to post ideas for events of our own, and those already here in Oklahoma.

If someone has an Oklahoma Flag we could use that for an avatar for...
Hi
When I lived in Wichita Kansas, several of the guy's I worked with celebrated Ground Hog's Day by cooking up and bringing Ground Hog (sausage) of various types into work. One of the guy's preceded me in moving to OKC and has kept the tradition alive. I marked my calendar for next year...
Hi
I just went to Oklahoma City for the day to search for a new place to live. My job is taking me to the South Side of Tinker AFB and I need a nice safe and inexpensive place to live with my stuff. The last time I lived in an apartment, I had new crappy furniture, no firearms, no tools, and...
Hi
I just noticed this at the bottom of a news article I was looking at.
http://tampa.cbslocal.com/2012/02/21/best-hat-shops-in-tampa/
There are links to several Tampa hat shops etc. I haven't actually READ the article yet.

Hi
I was looking at various Mustache Wax on the internet and found Weiss Barber Supply on Walnut Street in Wichita KS on an English website. Apparently, I'm not the only person that found them this way. Weiss is a nice place to shop, the owners are very friendly and I got to get a sniff of...
Hi
There are a couple of threads concerning the "perfect safari hat" and they are mainly about Akubras. My British WW2 bush hat was in the rain, and shrunk too much to wear. It's wool, so I don't think I can re-shape, or re-block it. Well, I can do it once, but it will eventually need it...
Hi
I found this while I was supposed to be working.

"Time-warp towns are those out-of-time discoveries that make for road-trip gold: downtowns populated with of former Woolworths-turned- antiques booth malls, neon signs for Rheingold or Schaeffer...
Hi
I want to get a non-traditional Campaign hat. In short, I don't want to go with an Olive Montana Peaked hat with a completely flat brim because I already have one. I don't plan on wearing this hat every day, therefore I don't want to blow the bucks to have Hatman Jack to make me a 50%...
Hi
I bought an unopened box of these (HOYO DE MONTERREY EXCALIBUR MINIATURES EMS CIGARILLO). They're only good for say 5-6 puffs and you're done. Does anyone use a holder for cigarillos? Fine, and mild, but tiny.
Just an update, I stopped by the local (and probably the best) cigar store and...
Hi
I just got home from visiting Levine's hat shop in StL. It's a nice place, I met Mr. Levine. I'll try and get picks of the Beaver brand hat that is now fedora shaped later. The NEWS is that Levine's has a bunch of $25.00 Stratton Campaign hats. One was special, a deep maroon (oxblood?)...
Hi
I own two pair of At The Front's Herringbone Twill 1st Pattern HBT Trousers and wear them regularly. The size 36 pants are 11.5 inches wide at the bottom. My regular khaki pants from Cabelas are only 9 inches wide at the bottom.
Does anyone own ATF's Khaki pants? I'd like opinion's...
Hi
I love Gin and Tonic's, I love the lime flavor, the kind of sour tonic, etc. I like Pink Lemonade, freshly squeezed lemonade, and Mountain Dew. I also haven't finished my first (and only) bottle of Limoncello. I SHOULD love this stuff. Anybody drink this stuff (besides Danny DeVito)...
