    Great catch Randall, a steal at that price. I think Alan is right though, those boxes were meant for packing to your destination. If I recall correctly I have only seen them paired with hats bought in Europe.

I believe the buyer usually regrets the price that he paid, and is just looking for a way to get some of it back, at least from my experience.
