Just started re-watching the BBC TV series COLDITZ. For a flick actually made in the early seventies, it still holds up.
Great story, good casting - and good to see that all germans are not shown as stupid robots or ice-cold nazis.
(You can find both seasons on YouTube)
It finally arrived. My long waited "Real Deal" HH A2.
Now it's just a matter of giving it a lot of use and breaking it in - getting those sleeves folded.
As some of you might know, I have been researching the life of one particular RAF pilot from WWII: Albert Gerald Lewis - known as Zulu.
Finally I had so much information from his family, from many differet books and combat reports. I also had a large collection of pictures on my Mac, so what to...

I am talking about posts in the thread about "concealed weapons" - but it has also happened before that.
I also find it quite strange - and disturbing - that this...
If you could design you own private, favorite fragrance (Perfume or Eua de Cologne) what would it be like?
Which notes and smells would you include?
I would like to have one that smelled like old aeroplanes:
Leather, hot oil on metal and high octane fuel mixed with a bit of cordite. Fresh...

Smiling rather awkward to the camera or starring at the...

And the sweat leaves white "salt" marks on the hatband.
Is there any way to clean...
