Light Grey Flannel Trousers -- DEAD?

For the longest time I have been considering getting a light grey three-piece suit made up. I think this thread has finally convinced me. I shall order the fabric tomorrow.

    Attack of the spread collars

I sort of like that collar Tomasso posted - If not just for irony's sake. I wouldn't mind having one or two shirts like that. The shirts would have to have a rather interesting pattern on it though.

    The REAL gangster look

The Bond photo appears to be from Goldfinger. It's the scene where he and M are meeting with the people from the bank to discuss gold smuggling and the sherry.

    Show us your SHOES !!!

I almost bought the brown shoes this last weekend. Everyone here has such an amazing collection of footwear. I, being a poor student, only have a few pairs of decent shoes (shoos) which I may post an image of in the near future.

    Putting it all together

 That looks almost exactly like the outfit I was wearing yesterday! The only difference being my shirt was not striped, my tie was light grey PoW and I did not have gloves on inside. That may be the strangest thing I have seen all day/week.

    Seer Sucker details

I would imagine that the fit of their SS is similiar to that of their other garments. So yes, rather generous or "Sack-esque" as some might say ;)

Shooman, those boots look rather nice although I am curious as to the shoe in your avatar. What is that gem?

    Your Perfectly Ingenious Closet

Thank you, Sir. I also found that setting up the bottom of the closet in two tiers helps with finding room for the shoes while still allowing ease of retrieval.

    Pleats Down on a Cummerbund?

You are correct, sir. Why they are upside-down for the military is because when the military started working with aliens and created area 51, the aliens (who naturally saw everything inverted) were confused by the humans' stomach coverings (as they were called by the aliens) and requested...

    Details and Options

Even though all my suits are modern, I prefer 13oz and above for my fabric (my current in-the-works suit is 20oz!). maybe it is because I have very little "insulation" and Chicago winters are not very forgiving, or maybe it is because they seem to drape better, who knows...
