    I had Ratio Clothing make me an OCBD with french cuffs. I think it works just fine with trousers and a sport coat, especially in more casual color like brown. Also, with real simple cufflinks, no jewels etc. It may be breaking the rules but I like it. Michael

    I too have been considering these two boots. And I've decided on the Alden because of the lace hooks for ease rather than holes all the way up and I think the Alden looks better with a reverse welt which the Dalton does not have.

    Vintage Spectator Shoes

    If you can't get them to look as white as you'd like you can try Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint. I used it on a pair of old Florsheims, took some time to work around the edges with a small paint brush but they look brand new again. Not sure how good it is for the leather in the long run.

    Fels Naptha soap for Cotten shirts

    I use Fel's Naptha on all my shirts, but I don't just rub it on like directions say. In my experience that stains them the color of the soap, mainly white shirts. I grate the Fel's and combine it with some other soaps like blue dawn and it works great.

    Good heavens, you must be close to 8' tall. I thought it was hard finding vintage stuff just being over 6' I agree though, don't seperate them, either try to make them work or sell them together.
