Posted this rifle here before but the spirits were with me and while going thru old papers I found the missing "letter". Sent from the PH to his broker and forwarded on to me shortly after I purchased the rifle some 25 years ago.

When I took up Celestial Navigation I learned there are only 2 correct places for one's sextant, in one's own hand and in the case. For my rifles the same rules apply.

A 9.3X74r fits the bill of not too big not too small. Full patch nearly the same ballistics as the .375 H&H and the long slim case can be loaded down as low as Ya want to go. Prvi Partizan jacked bullets are only about .35 ea, and there is always hard cast even cheaper. My 1920s Springer was...

    Ribbons...

Some truths Cardigan, one may find that there are some "laws" that may not be on the books but are regularly enforced on the streets and one of those in my world is the Stolen Valor Act! Our WWII Fathers and Grandfathers are usually quite tolerent of bad taste in the relm of flag etiquette...

For all of us "wish we were a PH types" remember, your favorite 7X57 Mauser is also your favorite .275 Rigby. As early as 1907, John Rigby adopted it, calling it the .275 Rigby after the English fasion of naming cartridges by land rather than grove or bullet diameter.
