    What are you wearing today??

My blurry ensemble for the upcoming cold. If you wanna call it that here. The all wool coat is from Germany. It's a dark grey houndstooth. Lavender shirt. Magnoli tie. Moonstone Fed 4.

Thanks, The Arrow one is a few inches shorter in spite of how it may look in the photo...

    Show us your TIES

I was led to believe the Arrow one is from around the time of the war, and the yellow number probably early 50's.

    Rockabilly anyone??

Saw JD McPherson and the band a couple weeks ago. One of the best shows I've been to in a long time.

    The casualization of the world

Bottom line. It's better to pay a lot for something that is quality and probably better supports your local economy, than pay a lot for something you're going to throw away in a couple years because it's worn out or 'out of date'. There's stock in buying $300 leather dress shoes or dropping...

    The casualization of the world

The comments under the article pretty much cover it, misspellings aside.

    Cologne and perfume

I've been a long time user of the original Polo. I recently recieved a small bottle of 'Dekkar Noir' as a gift. I like this one more I must say. It is of course very common and hip which is both good and bad. It's strong so a little goes a long way.

    Favorite Novelty Christmas Songs

Yes, there's always going to be someone who is contrary to something. Doesn't mean it makes sense or it's anything more than cynicism and self righteousness. I went thru a thing where I didn't like the holidays because of bad memories, but you get over yourself and find new good holiday times...

    Favorite Novelty Christmas Songs

I worked in a grocery store that did that two years in a row from November 1st to January 12th. I was more bothered by the lazy employees and management  That store went out of business about a year later so no more Christmas music for them. More on the subject...The original versions of...

    Favorite Novelty Christmas Songs

I just don't understand how you couldn't be put in a better mood by Christmas music. Except for maybe those re-recordings that come out every year.

    Christmas without Christ? Huh?

Glitter is bad any time of year, on anything. Ever get the stuff around your eyelids? Not fun to remove.

The Wet Head look: A question

The leather sweatband takes all of the rub on the hair/head. I've been a pomade user for a decade. Having some in your hair wont ruin a felt fedora unless maybe you have a deep crease that touches the top of your freshly applied, greased, noggin. It's pretty easy on sweatbands. Salty sweat on...
