OK...so what is your oldest hat?
The oldest hat I own is a kangol "dazzle" herringbone 504. While ive only had it for about five years the fact that it still gets plenty of wear now that I only buy handmade to order hats is a testament to how nice it is. -

Don't be afraid to try a fuller cap I have a narrow face and still find that I prefer caps with generous proportions they have a more vintage look then what's commonly sold today and in my view they represent more value for the money (more fabric, larger hat.) -
