    I really dig Robert Young's character in Crossfire. A few weeks ago at the Film Noir Festival I saw him in 'They Wont Believe Me' (1947) with Susan Hayward. He was playing the complete opposite of his 'Father Knows Best' role. It was like seeing his evil twin. A great actor, hasn't disappointed...

    Saw a Chinatown and L.A. Confidential double feature at the Castro Theater yesterday. I'd seen both these films many times, but never on the big screen. You really can't beat the movie palace experience, it was well worth braving the wet city streets.

    Johnny Depp in talks to Play The Thin Man

    Personally I have no problem with remakes. I see it as a way of introducing old stories to a modern audience. Johnny Depp bringing Hammett's stories back to the big screen sounds like a worthwhile endeavor.
