Those are some beautiful pieces, especially the hat...wow
I've always loved Navajo Turquoise jewelry, and South Western turquoise stuff in general. Do you guys know of good shops?
I am considering buying this one, but I don't know much about turquoise buckles so I've been researching:
Both hats were nice, but I really like the one with the braided leather strap...Exceptional! I wish I could pull off a fedora, I think my head is a too small for em. I do have a toque and a shearling fur trapper hat that I use when it is cold, but nothing as stylish as yours.
I also have the...
I am not familiar with the concept of mall jackets...if by that you mean cheap trendy clothing I guess this applies. They have the shearling bomber type look but are a little more versatile in that I can wear one to dinner.
A long shearling coat simply doesnt suit me. I would get one of these...
I hail from Switzerland...My mothers side is French and my fathers side is German and Italian.
We are all a mix of something or another...If you dont mind me asking, where are all your nice hats?
I have never bought any vintage before...but I wouldnt mind trying.
Where do you guys search for most of your coats? I would never accumulate as many things as dinerman, probably just one or two coats.
Dinerman does have lots of very nice coats, but in some cases it looks like he just has...
You are right, nice hat dude...I like heated debate though, it is my nature.
I like spice in my food too, I am just fiery and vibrant--passion oozes out of pores...Just kidding, but I do think contrasting pts and heated arguments can be illuminating.
Thanks!
The coat looks good on you sloan, but you have to tell me where did you get the bed spread? To die for:o
Would have loved to see it closed, but I suppose I am being too demanding. You have good taste!
One thing though, I cannot understand why Crombie does not offer the coat in...
It does look fine, except he charges retail on his belts. If I am ordering from some feminine hand made online bazaar-flea market I expect it to be priced accordingly.
I am Canadian, and I have no problem with offending people. I dont try to offend but I dont lose sleep over it if I do.
Anyways, I just noticed that this forum doesnt allow the discussion of politics...Im shocked. What is this some kind of totalitarian sartorial wasteland?
You can be quite friendly nice hat dude...earlier I thought you were trying to provoke me..
Yes, a lot of US companies will not ship to Canada...I trued to make an order with Trafalgar and they told me they wont ship to Canada.
I suspect it might be because of some legality surrounding...
Well, to be honest, I rarely see overcoats for men with that back belt feature. Most overcoats I see are quite plain and most are singlebreasted too--usually with flap pockets and plastic buttons or faux horn.
So even an authentic military great coat would be looked upon with curiosity by...
Thanks howardeye!
I'll look em up...I wish Brooks Brothers weren't overcharging on their alligator belts because then I'd just pick on up there. That store has got to have some of the worst value out there.
I've been thinking of getting a G1 goatskin or a shearling bomber for a while now. I've looked through the threads here to find more information, for which there is a wealth of great posts. But I was curious about this style of coat--the shearling pea coat...
I don't think you could find that in a store--unless vintage of some sort.
But the Crombie great coat is quite similar to that, and I'd say the Crombie is a little more practical
