How about giving Schott some credit?
Schott remake many of their classic jackets for the Japanese market..and they are great.. (and correspondingly expensive) On a trip around Aoyama, I saw some great Schott/Beck jackets (Made in the USA by Schott).. On the stiffness of Aero Horsehide
LW make quality stuff.. but it's almost too good. Their HH is incredibly heavy and stiff. As an MC jacket it makes it hard work to wear practically. I've owned many original 40-60s Buco HH jackets and none are the weight or stiffness of LW. I've always found Stuart (the owner) very...- Rufus

Aero Jacket lining question
The alpaca is great..My lining is 2 years old, has constant wear and is fine. Some people have commented that they find the alpaca scratchy (I don't), but just thought I should mention this if you're only wearing it with a t-shirt.. As my Mum would say..wrap up warm, ye'll catch your...- Rufus

Hello sir, The cordovan does mark easier then some of the other finishes from Aero. I believe it's the way the leathers been treated, the surface is not'shiny' like the brown and black HH, but more of a matt finish, and in areas where you have a lot of rub (IE - Carrying a bag -...- Rufus

I can highly recommend Aero's alpaca lining, it's hard wearing, light and warm..perfect for London. I'd go wit the brown myself.. The Cordovan finish can rub (transfer colour) and also wears badly if you regularily carry heavy satchels or bags.- Rufus
