    That's good to know, @MrProper and @58panheadfan. I wore the jacket a couple of times in a drizzle and wiped it dry with a terry cloth at home. No problem. However I thought proper rain, when the leather soaks up the water, wouldn’t be good for the Vicenza.

    Under my BR jacket I prefer Breton and Arran jumpers or plain crew neck wool jumpers in the cold season. In early spring and autumn, I wear cotton sweatshirts and hoodies.
