Open Road crown reshape
I bought a garage-sale Resistol cowboy hat for my first reshape. That's how nervous I was. I learned that felt is a lot more durable than I'd imagined. There might even be pictures of it around here somewhere. You did a great job!- Spats McGee

Serious about a straw Stetson Stratoliner
It's here! The label actually says both "60" and "7 1/2" on it. It fits just about exactly like my Akubras did when I first got them, ever so slightly too large. I'll dig up something to use as sizing strips at the house and I'll be good to go. Thank you, one and all, for your help on this...- Spats McGee

I wear a 7 1/2 LO. My Akubras (Stylemaster & Camp Draft) are 60s and pretty much a perfect fit. Perhaps I should just get the 7 1/2?- Spats McGee

This is probably not the place to ask about "too many hats." There's a horrible bunch of enablers around here. :p That said, I've got all the hats I 'need,' so at least one to match any outfit.
