Do people reciprocate your dinner invitations?
My paternal grandparents used to host dinner as well as tea time invitations. Some of the invited could not always come due to restrictional conditions of real life such as distance. E.g. Indeed. You must have an acquired taste to like 'lutfisk' and it helps if it has been cooked properly as well as served with the right things.
