Music suggestions 20's 30's big band & jazz?
A couple of excellent films were shown by TCM on MLK Day: "Cabin in the Sky" and "Stormy Weather". These were films with black casts and there were some greats among them, such as Cab Calloway, Lena Horne, Eddie Anderson, Bill Robinson. The scores and performances were just great in my opinion... -
