here is my collection of vintage brooks gold label cafe racer leather jackets. Either the sizes are not very consistent or the jackets stretch/shrink over time. The top left black jacket does not have a size label, but does have a quilted lining ... it was noted this lining is original and...- Crayfish

I just noticed a difference between the labels on my brooks gold label cafe racers... one has a quilted lining (perhaps a replacement lining) and the word Detroit starts after the P of the word above...the jacket I just picked up has a smoother lining and the word Detroit starts before the P ...- Crayfish

I just picked up this vintage brooks gold label leather jacket that was hand painted (by The Great China Wall Company) ... unfortunately I do not know who the artist was ... it was painted in LA November 29, 1999. Did some leatherwork to patch up the hole in the collar. Thin piece of leather shoved into the hole and then apply glue carefully (or in my case glue like a kindergartener) and then hammer flat to secure the frayed edges of the hole. Pic of the hole- Crayfish
