    Show us your Guns!

I like this! The holster was pretty flattened when I go it and being unsure of what the oil and dye would do to my Ruger I dug around my costume box and found a cowboy cap pistol that was pretty much the same size as my single six. I used that to shape the holster and am storing the cap pistol...

    Show us your Guns!

OH MY! I honestly had no idea that such a thing would be of value. Had I known I would have sold it to a collector who would have appreciated its patina of age. I wasn't trying to restore an antique, I wanted a holster. But what is done is done and I will appreciate it as a quality piece of...

    Show us your Guns!

Not sure if this the right place, but I thought I would share this vintage holster I picked up at a local gun shop for $10 It was sold by Von Lengerke & Antoinne of Chicago so it can't be any newer than the 50's or 60's It fit my Ruger Single Six perfectly After a little...

    Dr. Who?

Growing up he was "my" Doctor Who, the first story I watched was "Robot" and only much much later discovered some of the other Doctors. My personal favorite Doctor is Jon Pertwee (though watching some of the new stuff I love Christopher Eccleston ). I was very happy to introduce my young son...

My first mustache effort Though I have worn a beard for most of the last 20 years I have yet to ever try a mustache. Since I was going to be Paladin from "Have Gun Will Travel" for Halloween I began to grow mine out and shave the rest. After three trips to different stores and not find a...

    What are you wearing today??

Edward, The tartan is Nicholson muted hunting from Batley's which is a smaller weaving mill. My wife is a Nichol so this tartan honors her and her family. As for ghillie brogues, I have a pair but tend to leave them for black tie occasions (I personally think a regular shoe works just fine.)...

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

Steve, I'm in the South Bay which is not quite as cool as San Francisco. Our Winter this year has been a bit harsher than normal hence I have gotten a bit more use from my Wooly Pullys than normal. As for my Highland Attire, I am of Scottish descent (Galbraith) and a Scottish Country Dancer...
