    Where in London?

You could ask Lock. I think they mentioned to me once that they do restoration, including reblocking...but from what I remember, their chares are astronomical. As for shirts, Hilditch & Key are good, but there are a couple of shirt makers that I want to try in Burlington arcade. Burlington...

    Trilby/Fedora?

Let me add some more confusion. I asked Lock & Co for their ledger history as I was interested in the last hats that Oscar Wilde had bought. During the mid 1890's, whilst his play 'The Importance of Being Earnest' was debuting, he had bought the following from Lock's: 1 x Black Silk Opera Hat...

I use Label M Matt Paste...doesn't come off on any of the liners or sweatband. Take my hat off and rough up my hair again!

Does anybody know of online sources for a small number (2) of hat liners?

    Star Trek

A fan of the original series...can't beat the trio of Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Of the Next Gen, my fave episodes were the ones were Picard plays out his PI fantasies, right down to smoking Camel Non-Filters.

Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

A year ago Art made me a copy of the lid worn by Johnny Depp. I'd posted a front shot of it in another thread and was advised to upload pictures here. Here you go: I'm really chuffed with this hat. It's everything I was hoping for. Since ordering this hat I've had Art...

    Dressing for silverbelly

Cheers Art. I got another hat idea that I think you'll have to make for me...I'll email the details. Lark, you'll love it as Art has an eye for detail. Also...don't expect the hole anytime soon, this beast is very tough.

    Dressing for silverbelly

I had Art make me the exact same hat last year. I tend to wear it with a variety of colours, and it seems to works well. From tweed to brown corduroy jackets, jeans etc. Quite a versatile hat. Not a very good picture, but will get a better one up. You'll love yours. Zee.

What are the stereotypes associated with different hats?

Hello folks, I'm new here and this is my first post. I'm a Londoner and I usually wear fedoras or trilbys (have many of both, but my winter weights are being stored at the moment). I do also have a vintage Lock bowler and a vintage Christys silk topper - both are my size, but need to be...
