Hello chaps
I have two hand made caps by two of our favourite cap makers for sale on ebay, one unused and one hardly used. I expect these will be of most interest to UK and European loungers given the cost of transatlantic postage, but check the listing...

A few taster pics below.....
A simple question, though i suspect I might not get a simple answer!
The sample i have from Aero is .....well, black. Defo not brown. In fact in blind comparisons I chose it as "blacker" than the black vicenza. But I see from some comments on the web others seem to detect the brown basecoat...
Well I did this for my own purposes but i thought you guys might be interested in the results.
I have a good number of Aero leather samples in the house (I expect I'm not alone) and thought I'd do some crude experimentation on water resistance. Here's the results: some of it expected, some of...
over the next few weeks I'm going to purge a load of my vintage menswear collection. I've started with berets and caps (especially the repro caps, which I never wear). Several on ebay now. If there's enough interest from Loungers I may just post the rest on here and Facebook as I'm sick and...

Ultra-rare 1920s era WIDE BRIM flat cap by BIRKETT of WHITEHAVEN.
Ideal fit is UK 7 1/8 (US 7 ¼, Euro 58) - however, it has no leather sweatband and is quite stretchy, and will...

"....Classic HIGHWAYMAN black leather jacket by AERO LEATHER...
1960s City of New York Police Department patrolman's black leather jacket, by the leading post-war maker, Miklos Sas.
I am 38” chest, 5ft 7”, 10 ¾ stone and normally wear a size 38 jacket, and this fits me fairly well over a woolly jumper, though it might fit a 40” better.
Black horsehide...
Next jacket up is an original mid-20th century German black leather cyclist/utility jacket. Jackets like this were made from the 1930s to the 60s and are often referred to as “Luftwaffe” jackets due to their popularity with WW2 fighter pilots. I'd say this one was from the 40s or 50s, but I'm no...
OK guys, I'm bumping this thread from 2014 as this same jacket is up for sale again. I've amended the posts to keep it up to date, so prices etc are all current.
Stunning copy of a 1930’s LEVI STRAUSS BLACK LEATHER MOTORCYCLE / UTILITY JACKET by Aero. This is one of a limited number made around...
In UK menswear synthetic fibres didn’t really take off until around the mid-1950s. By the mid-1960s they were fairly common and widespread. But does anyone know whether synthetic fibres were extensively used during WW2 in Germany and occupied Europe? I’ve never really thought about this before...
I'd like to introduce Loungers to what Mark Lamarr (BBC top rockin' DJ) has described as "the best Hillbilly band in the UK", the DEL RIO RAMBLERS.
Spookily authentic recreation of late 1940s/early 1950s Country - Hillbilly Bop, Western Swing, and Honky Tonk. Knowledgeable people have...
I've got various things on ebay at the moment, but the gems have to be a rare example of the Pick 777, allegedly the original "slipover" design from 1929, and a beautiful example of a mid 20th century Grenfell Cloth windcheater. These are the sort of things I keep for myself when they are my...
I'm reluctantly selling the tweed 1930s cap photoed on page 2 of this thread (and much admired by BK....).

this is the cap I've been trying to find most of my adult life. I nearly wept with excitement when I first saw it....and with disappointment when I saw (no surprise of course) that it was a paltry UK 6 3/4 (US 6 7/8, Euro 55). It will probably stretch a size bigger of course (though no...
I've been selling these skinny "croc" belts one at a time on evilbay over the last few months - I had around a dozen originally and I'm now down to the last two. I think they are probably 1960s/70s era but they look great with 1930s-50s trousers.
Before I list them I thought I'd offer them...
