Smokers and non smokers, what do you do, what do you think?
Interesting topic, especially since today (April 3rd) marks 1 month of NOT smoking for me. I quit a month ago on the day my Grandfather died of Lung-cancer. I used to smoke about a pack / pack and a half a day. Lucky Strikes...good smoke. I did it cold turkey, and I miss smoking, but I have no...- GCR

Vintage sweatband question
I, too, made that mistake, although I can't recall what color the sweatband was...I could have sworn it was dark brown, but that may be my imagination. I do, however, have another "modern" Stetson that has the black sweatband. The worst part is, like the rest of the hat, Stetson cut corners on... -

Akubra
I can't speak for the regular line of Akubras either, as I only have an Akubra Federation Deluxe, which is of the Heritage line. I can say it is a fine hat, and has been everything I needed and/or wanted it to be. I'm glad I got it. I have owned modern Stetsons. That is something I am not proud...
