    Depressed by the modern world

Sounds a lot like my 2007 Ford Focus; no power anything, no a/c manual transmission, no GPS or digital screen. It does have computerized fuel injection (I prefer that for cold starts and find it easier to work on), and no vent windows. The major difference being that the Focus was designed to...

    Why Don Draper IS Lounge

I find all the drinking and smoking to be important to the plot. Most of the charagters are shown clinging to a superficial surface life and having no true integrity, they overindulge in whats around them in an attempt at happiness. Being ad men they then attempt to sell this concept to the...

I will also recomend sea foam or MMM. Also an ethanol treatment can be a good idea as Maine gas and carburetors don't mix well. Wondering if you should be using a lead substitute (MMM in the gas might be enough lubrication?)

    The Wifely Duties

Having my third child in Medomak high school I can say without a doubt a girl would be encouraged, a boy discouraged by staff and ridiculed by peers.

Beer and Ale - Poll & Personal Favorites

My wife liked Guinness very very much, but was so outraged when she realized a pint can was no longer an actual pint that she switched to Murphys.

    This generation of kids...

When My son declared at the end of eighth grade that he wanted to be an auto mechanic and go to the tech high school his teachers first explained to us that he was too bright for that. When we insisted they started to convieniently loose paper work etc. It got to a stand off where we had to deal...

    I remember when.....

I remember towns that had a main street that was like stepping into a time capsule; completely functioning, non chain grocery stores, news stands, and independant department stores. I remember seeing most of those main streets destitute and barren before being made over all touristy (it's...

Black cavendish out of an HJB bent billiard last night. A little bit of miserable dried up old Dunhill Elizabethan out of an equally miserable corn cob so far today
