Here's the pictures.
The hat is very dark green, and looks brown in some of the photos. Very much an olive green. Felt quality is excellent.![]()

For some reason my Sony Image Station has been down for 24 hours...hummmm...are they wanting a subscription?
Thanks again for posting them for me.
I love this hat. The workmanship is flawless, the liner supurb, with a paper liner between the felt and the silk. Leather sweat is top notch.
Just the right amount of stiffner, and the brim is perfectly sized for me.
I had to trade a very nice vintage hat block towards this purchase (funny, Art loves my toys)..but I realize that my curling Iron or the hat block serve no purpose collecting dust. Anything I can give Art to further his talent and dreams is my goal.

Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

Very nice. I like that crown shape/dent. What's it called? Is there some reference I can look at when you guys talk about crown styles?
Thanks,
David

Teardrop.
Hat looks good.
You need a liner logo.
Green hats are far and few between.
Actually Matt, it's a "C" crown and you are right, green hats are fewer than any other color.

Art, how do I tell a "C" crown from a teardrop (and any other crown shape)?

I think C crown is the same as Teardrop. Am I right? I don't really know my self. LOL
I have been wearing hats for 7 years and I'm still learning things!
Regards.
Nope Root, the "C" has distinct points right behind the side pinch where the teardrop does not. The teardrop uses a nice smooth transition and is generally a newer style ( compared to the '40s)
It's also called the Borsalino block
