I have got a new favourite! Illamasqua Drench. Beautiful colour and great lasting power. I'd post a photo of me wearing it if I could remember how to do it! It is a lovely raspberry red, bright but wearable.

I've just recently picked up L'Oreal Paris' "British Red", and was very impressed! I have to say that it made even my thin lips pretty :P

Hey girls, I am trying to post a photo of me wearing Illamasqua Drench but I can't remember how to do it. Apologies if this doesn't work!

Ok, the process has changed since I last did it and for some reason it will not let me upload a pic from Picasa. How frustrating. The pic also includes my gorgeous baby who I was hoping to show off!

Hi sarabell, Once again feeling happy and proud to say that this is one of best question ever!!It is really difficult to find good brand name and shade for lipstick because every buddy want to used different and popular brand, may be this is the right place where there is something for everyone! Women have been staining their mouths red for centuries, maybe longer. Many women assume they can't wear it. They're wrong. Here we show you how. Darker shades, Cream or matte, Add a little shimmer, matching skin toner, mainly it wil be depend on your skin type ,makeup brushes, cosmetic cases, makeup case etc

I've just ordered Avon Extra Lasting Lipstick:

    (in Eternal Flame)
Any experience, like: what to expect?
Reviews are divided: some liked it, some cursed it!
    I'm baffled here, ladies.
Sam, make-up artist from Pixiwoo (they to marvelous looks on YouTube.. including LOTS of vintage-y ones) used it, and it looked awesome-red. And browsing the net, I saw a girl whose lips were.. "Morticia-Addams-just-had-some-wine" red.

Today's lipstick is Besame in Besame Red. I bought it yesterday and I'm loving it so far. Long lasting but not as drying as I find MAC lipsticks.

    And.. it came yesterday:

It is NOT dark at all.
Gal on the picure made me think it'll turn into some "deep-red-wine" shade when I put it on, but it's not. It's REAL red, with a slightly blue undertone. On me, it looks good. It's mattifying, and gives me "vintage lip" feel.
Only flaw: there's so little of it in the tube.

I'm into Mary Kay's Midnight Red. It's a very soft red color. It blends nicely into lips. The shade is perfect for darker skin tones.

Is it my imagination, or are MAC lipsticks drier now than they were a couple years ago? I still love MAC, but sometimes I'll mix it up with Besame (I, too, love Besame Red) just so I don't feel like I have a desert on my face!
