I want to get Styl-Rite 820 frames. What places should I search? Since I don't think SRO still makes those?
Google doesn't lead me to any website except the top two which do not have the size I want.
Hey, what does it mean when glasses say "Demi" on them?
I think Demi refers to being partially translucent? Not the fade-to-clear type, but like a tortoise type of effect. I've seen frames called Demi amber and Demi gray, and they seemed to be a patterned, swirly, borderline tortoise look.
What kind of eyeglasses would these be? Worn in the 60s-70s by US President Richard Nixon.
Where could I get a modern pair like them?
Or these?

Please refer to the answer to an identical question you asked earlier in the year, which was answered in March.

If you're looking to buy vintage frames of that style, you could also try checking eBay. You may not know the exact manufacturer and model, but most sellers probably won't, either, so you'll have to resort to looking at them and making an assessment yourself.

I think Microshapes' crystal Arnel is closer to those LBJ frames.
I would think you'd be able to find a vintage pair of fades on eBay, or at www.vintageeyeglassesonline.com - they don't tend to be super expensive, and they're also likely better made than any modern comparable frame you're likely to find.
Anyone know where I can find a pair, vintage or repro, of the glasses Mr. Gallagher is wearing in this early '20s era photograph?![]()
Rule 19 "when going without a tie"
No one, but no one, should ever wear a suit without a tie.
