Well, the Banana Republic wax jacket from my closet will be put to good use after all.A young friend has taken a one year, pre lawschool, clerking job at a NYC law firm and is facing his first ever northern winter.I made him a gift of the jacket, the better to cover his deep south hide in that blustery environment.

    Speaking of waxed jackets,
Does anyone know where to get waxed cotton ( Oilskin) fabric.

I have an "Outback" short duster style coat made from Oilskin and love the fabric. It is a fairly stiff fabric.

    I have searched everywhere.

Guess none of you chaps are interested then. Off to the flea market she goes then.
