A day late with this one; sort of the sequel to yesterday's post. Later in the evening, after this concert -

Here are two really poorly made Tom Collins and an Open Road:
My favorite hat.
It's great to know that there are other Arkansans around here!
I'm also in the Northwest part of the state, but I grew up way down south near the Louisiana border. We have oppressively hot and sunny summers down there (and I guess throughout the state), so it's important to have a good hat to keep the sun off!

Joe, that's a visually arresting picture. Nice composition, what with the rectangular echos (vest and bricks) and bright contrast fields (hat, post, railing). Just a great shot all round.

Thanks y'all.
I'll just post a picture of the old house where that was taken if I may. It's on a huge expanse of farmland which was expropriated in about 1975 for an international airport that was never built. This is the area where I'm from and because of the expropriation it hasn't changed in 40 years plus it hadn't changed much in the 50 years before that so I kinda enjoy driving around the side roads there - goes on for miles and practically deserted - kinda takes me back and lots of memories.

YeeHaw Alan, you should be here in Missoula! Unfortunately, spring is not yet progressing much, but buds are out...Your M9 would do very well; I am testing out my brand new Oly OM-D. We start rolling up toward Glacier Natl Park at noon. Internet and cell phone service are very sparse. Over and out.
Cheers,
Ray
