Thank you, Manfred, I believe the Whippet and your Mayser have similarities, yes.

hatophile--thank you, too, sir. Like the OR.

Jockos--another good portrait. Happy to hear that it has warmed up there.

wine65--although I've yet to comment, I've been admiring your new semi-colado.

    Alan--nice choice for NYC.

    gtdean--good lookin' Stetson.

DJH--the Garrison fits the setting, a walk along the tracks. I recall it from other posts. What is the felt color?

    Mallory Twenty this morning.

You're not kidding! I thought I only took a day off this thread. It's definitely been about a week, and there are sooooo many pages that I can't even catch up with. Some to note:

Perry - That was a great Panama from PHD; I'll have to look in to that site. Just bought a Barlesoni panama off of Etsy for a deal. Will post next week.

Alan - Looks like a tiring flight. I wish I could sleep that well on a plane. I went to England in 2006 and couldn't get a wink! I was so tired when I got there, and we had to stay up so we could adjust the next day.

g.durand - The Mallory is a treasure. Beautiful hat!

David - Cool shot on the tracks with your pups.

case and Manfred - You guys sure can rock those caps! Bravo, gents.

It was cloudy and overcast today. It's been raining at least once or twice a week for a while here in Atlanta. Not complaining, but it ends up changing weekend plans. Hopefully, it will be nice at the pool tomorrow for my daughter's birthday.

I decided to wear my Champ milan today. Between my 3 straws, this tops them as my favorite...

Looks like a fine day David, just don't play chicken.

    g. fine Mallory sir.

AnA, I can see why it's your favorite straw. I want......

Finally got an iPhone and snapped this seconds after getting it, raining outside. Simonds wool cap:

    Peace, Mike

    Vote for Pedro.

Good afternon. Great hat pics and quips folks. Tom, sorry to hear about the hickory beating your barn took. Glad that no animals were hurt. I share the frustration as it never seems you can do enough to keep up with chores and then nature whoops you and then keeping up takes a back seat to repair. I tip my hat your direction, mostly south east, hoping to add enthusiasm to your efforts.

Just got home from gymnastics practice and took the dogs out. It is post rain and 82'F. Yuck! My Ecuadarian Milan, aquired from Robert ( Thanks again!), is riding on top of my head this afternoon. Tired and sitting with intentions of enjoying the laeside view with a chocolate milk stout. I am already feeling the effects of inertia as I am sitting and typing.

Looking forward to the sunset, Eric-
