My father had at one time two Model 10's, one the 4" barrel which I now have, the other had a 2" barrel, but the standard K frame grips just like the other. I only shot it twice, but found it extremely accurate and I asked him if he every wanted to get rid of it I would buy it. He forgot and sold it to a friend and I never saw it again. I still wish I had that little gun.
As long as every one else is showing their Smith & Wesson's, I mine as well show mine. A Model 36 Chief Special in .38 Special. Best thing about it was the price, free, a lawyer I new took it in lou of payment, no it's not hot. His widow gave it to me, not sure it has ever been shot, I haven't bothered. I took it to a gun show and the security guard laughed at it, then i pointed out that the Snubnose has probably saved more Cops lives then any 9mm, strapped to their leg, he acknowledged I was probably right!![]()
I bought my niece a t shirt that reads "I shoot like a girl' Smith & Wesson" She loves it, wears it at college.
Stearmen,
Nice Model 36. And a flat latch to boot.
