    The Phantom Dancer plays swing, jazz and dance from live vintage 1920s - 60s radio & TV every Tuesday. Playing Swing since 1985!

    This week, Greg Poppleton brings you legendary Sydney bandleader Frank Coughlan in a Featuradio Transcription from 1937.

    You'll also hear Frank Sinatra with Andre Previn's Orchestra broadcasting in 1946, Helen Forrest with Gordon Jenkin's Orchestra broadcasting in 1944, and Glenn Miller wowing the bobby-soxers from the Meadowbrook Ballroom in New Jersey over NBC's Red Network in 1939.

We tune into Louis Armstrong broadcasting from Chicago in 1948 for the Damon Runyom Memorial Jazz Concert.
