    On television this afternoon: Mosquito Coast (which was truly disturbing, as since the time I saw it years ago I have had my eyes opened to the fact that people like this really exist), and First Knight (Connery makes an excellent Arthur; Gere, creepy and sleazy as ever, a poor Lancelot).
