    Unhappy Actress Miyoshi Umeki passes

    Academy award winning actress Miyoshi Umeki has passed away. She won her Oscar for best actress in a supporting role in Sayonara (1957). She was in many films and Television shows and is probably best known to U.S. audiences as Mrs.Livingston from "The Courtship of Eddies Father" TV show. She was 78 years old.

    Sorry,I missed that thread. I haven't seen that particular film of hers yet. She was a fine actress.
