Same story here, Sean. But, as we all know now, you don't find if you don't look. It seems there are three or four size 6 & 7/8ths lids for every 7 and a quarter. But that's not half as irritating as the dealer who thinks that a dirty, moth-eaten hat with a loose sweatband and a hole at the pinch is worth 50 bucks.

THATS a sharp hat! Right place/right time=spectacular find, gotta love it -good for you and it looks great on you too!

I have NEVER found anything near that nice at any flea markets I've been to in any size--usually look like they've been pulled out of the trash but priced as gold.
    Gotta wear it with-----HATITUDE!

    Hi,

Well, Sean, that Dobbs is a great look for you. For seven bucks, you expect a hat to wear when you mow the lawn & shovel snow off your driveway, but instead, you've found a gem, both striking on its own and great on you.

It's the wide brim binding that really makes it, I think.

Not really sure why. In the shot of you wearing it, maybe it's something to do with shape of your glasses???? In the shots of it on your desk, maybe it's taming a really wide brim???? But I dunno.

I dunno, man. Like I always say, I might not know what I like, but I sure know Art when I see it.

    Cheers,
    Mark
