Well... Was, and probably still is, a rigid frame triumph 650. I know triumphs pretty well and can pull them together; this one will classic bobber style. I'll make it mechanically spot on but leave it looking it's age. But, I've also been offered a Vincent comet in bits, and no guarantee that it's all there. I'd love to do it but until I see it I won't decide.
I want something that shows off what I can do as I'd like to set up a small side business building bikes to order or restoring. We'll see!
Your bike is looking the part! What's the plan, get it back after the frame is done and do it yourself? I considered doing a Harley based project, they are not normally my thing but I think one stripped right back with springer forks would be cool. Post pics as you go!!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm waiting for the frame to come back then I'm going to have at it, going to go for stripped down skinny 60's look. Nice and simple. Will put up some pics definitely.
Like the sound of the rigid 650. Vincent would be nice but could turn into a money-pit quick? I love the look of a hardtailed trump. Baron's Speed Shop is down the road from me and I often see their bikes around. I'm sure you've heard about them? Very, very nice stuff.
If you've got the skills why not show them off and build a few bikes, you never know where it might lead.

That's a beauty ! 750 ? How's she ride?
I used to have a TR 650 (Tiger) back in the late 70's I loved it!
Nothing like the sound of a "Trumpet "!
Thank you dob.
It's a 790, the newer models are 850. They also now have the 1500 Thunderbird. Then there's the Rocket which is a whole other story.
Rides great.
I looked at a lot of bikes and feel like I got one of the best deals out there far performance, price and looks. I live in the Shenandoah Valley and this bike is just right for the twisty to semi-twisty to straight back roads I usually travel. It can also easily handle a 75 mph cruise if I wish.
