Short Sleeve Shirt in L.A. Confidential

In the movie L.A. Confidential Russell Crowe wore a short sleeve button down shirt with "V" notches on the sleeves.

I've been looking for a shirt with those sleeves but can't find them anywhere.

Does anyone have an idea where to find them? Does anyone know what they are called so I don't sound like an idiot when I ask for them?

So you too have noticed those? I thought they were a neat feature as well. I don't know who makes them nowadays, but I took a few longsleeve shirts (that were too short in the sleeves) to my local dry cleaner and had them chopped down with this "V" added. Didn't cost much either. A couple bucks a shirt is all.

Unfortunately, I don't know the name of them, either.
