    Smile Hi MissTayva

Hi, I wanted to introduce myself since I am new to this forum. Sorry, I missed seeing the Illustrations and the Bakelite and Celluloid Jewelry. My partner and I collect and sell Authentic Vintage Bakelite and Celluloid Jewelry and it would have been a treat to see your friend's items.

Hope to see you here. By the way, your photo and dress are fabulous.

    Hi Sharon, welcome!
    Thanks for the kind words!
I never got to see what the auction ended at. My friend moved and is literally getting rid of everything, she has so much nice stuff... she has been a lifelong jewelry collector, and even had her own business for years selling vintage jewelry. Her eBay ID is imabarbedoll, check it from time to time, as she is always listing.

You sell on Ruby Lane? Cool! I shop that site a lot :-)

    Hi MissTayva~

Thanks for the welcome and your friend's eBay ID. It's always good to have a recommendation and I'll check it out. Great to know you shop at Ruby Lane. Right now we are having a Sale and giving free vintage jewelry away and it's working out real well. Also the warm weather inspired everyone to drop those winter coats already and celebrate Spring! It took so long to warm up in New York too. This global warming got so many of us scared. What is going on here? My son was wearing his winter coat in May and almost into June till I hid it from him. Only 3 months of warm weather and then it's back to the winter coats again. The weather plays such an important factor in everything. Though I am so excited it's warm enough to wear my new pink outfit tonight with all my vintage jewelry. Such fun! So how's the weather where you are?

Oh man, the weather out here is HOT! I'm already tired of it!
I need a new wardrobe, most of my stuff, for some reason, is winter-seasoned! Pants, and even capris are things I don't want to wear!
I just bought some nice flecked wool pencil skirts that I am dying to wear, but I guess I have to wait 'til I go to California to do so (I am always cold when I am out there). The thought of wool is making me sweat as I speak! Haha...

Oh, I saw later that you are in AZ. I guess it would be hot especially this time of year. Yes, wool would sort of be the least favorite to wear in 95 degree weather. I love AZ...just have to move there. I love the heat with little humidity. Wow, You must have great hair days all the time! Anytime you want to trade places, let me know.
